Just another one of Hugh's Fans

Hugh fired up the jet to Ottawa this weekend for a quick visit with his Aunt Zoe because she really wanted a photo of the two of them together – I gather her colleagues at work don't believe she is related, or even knows Hugh personally. Anyway, once the greyhound bus dropped me off, (Hugh says I might get to travel on the jet with him after one year of working) I made my way to the hotel where Hugh was staying to take the photo.

As I was setting up to take the first photo of Zoe and Hugh, Ice Cube – who was in Ottawa performing with Snoop Dogg – came into the frame... We had no idea that Ice Cube was such a big fan... He said that Hugh has been the inspiration for most of his new music and that he heads up the West Coast chapter of Hugh's fan club.

You can see in this photo even the toughest gangster can't help but be excited to meet Hugh... Check out the stone cold, I'll pop a cap in yo ass visage on Hugh... He is the Original Gangster.

Time for some R&R

Hugh took Shana and I down to florida to spend a week with Shana's family. While in Florida Hugh bought a new boat which he is planning on storing at the RCYC. Here are a couple of pix of the skipper and his first mate.

On Set

Here we are filming the camping scene with Troy Hurtuboise, as you can see we are sparing no expense on the special effects or FX for the more savvy movie folk... like uncle G.

Obviously we are embellishing a few scenes in the film... like this one – It would be unlikely that hugh would survive a situation like this in real life. I mean, it was hard enough for him to beat down a 2000lbs Grizzly bear and walk away from it, but for the interest of making an action packed thrill ride we decided to add the rabid cub.

Hugh pulled a few strings and got me a job as Best Boy on set...

Casting Call

It's been a while since our last blog entry... We've been extremely busy with our casting call. here are some of the actors shortlisted to play Hugh in his upcoming feature biopic – The Hugh Supremacy.

Although it would be nice to have a big name actor play the part of Hugh, Hugh feels it's more important to cast the best actor for the role. Also included in this entry is Hugh meeting one of the bright new comers who auditioned for the role.

They really hit it off so we will see what happens in the next few weeks.
